Falconbridge Animal Hospital was started with a love of animals and a desire to provide pets with the best health care possible. We began serving pets in the Durham and Chapel Hill area in 1996. The clinic was originally located near I-40 on Hwy 54 in south Durham. In the fall of 2011, Falconbridge Animal Hospital moved to our current location on Hwy 54 near the intersection of Hwy 751/Hope Valley Rd.

The new, expanded veterinary hospital was designed and built specifically for us. Our satellite clinic, Village Veterinary Hospital, was opened in Governors Village of Chapel Hill in 2005. The veterinarians and staff rotate through both of our hospitals. We currently have 5 veterinarians representing over 70 years of veterinary experience, supported by a team of registered veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and administrative staff.

We are a full service clinic. In addition to the wide variety of medical services offered by our doctors, we also have veterinary supervised boarding and grooming services available at the Falconbridge Animal Hospital location.
Services
For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to be a veterinarian.
While still in grade school I volunteered at the Nature and Science Center in Bay Village, OH.
I then worked for a multi-doctor small animal veterinary hospital during high school.
I went to The Ohio State University for my undergraduate work and graduated with a degree in parasitology.
I received my veterinary degree from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983, then was blessed to be selected by NC State University to join their advanced training internship program in small animal medicine and surgery.

When we say we treat your pets as we would our own, these are some of the pets we are referring to.
Our team members have cats, dogs, fish, guinea pigs, rabbits, and reptiles.
Our pets are very special to us, and we understand how you feel about yours!
That's why we chose our mission statement to include the sentence, "Caring for your pets is not just our job, it is our passion!"
To show our appreciation for new clients that you refer to, we have a Referral Reward Program.
There is no time limit, so start referring friends and ask them to tell us you sent them!
If for any reason you do not want a particular gift, we can exchange it for one of equal or lesser value - just let us know how you want to be rewarded!.
We are a locally owned and operated small business, and we enjoy giving back to the community that we live in.
Below is information about some of the causes that we feel passionate about and how we strive to support them.
We have had several students from the Jordan High School Agriscience program intern with us here at Falconbridge Animal Hospital.
One of these interns earned her Animal Care Certificate and is enrolled in the pre-vet program at NCSU.
We have also been lucky enough to be able to participate in some of Jordan High School's career days and in helping care for some of their classroom animals.
