Where do I begin? I can't say enough good things about Dr. Hanson. I've known her since childhood. Through elementary, middle and high school, I knew she was a kind and caring person. She has always been very knowledgeable and studious. When I heard she was graduating with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, I was not surprised. It suited her well and I expected only the best in her future.
Whenever I call and ask Dr. Hanson for advice on my two dogs, she is very thorough with instructions and what I can do to make my dogs feel better. I have been discussing a sensitive tummy issue with her for several months now and every time I come to her with additional symptoms or changes, she not only has all of the answers, but she has facts, studies and new research to discuss with me.
She never stops learning! Dr. Hanson and her husband purchased the Crossroads Animal Hospital in Oxford, too. She is kind, dedicated, smart, helpful, compassionate towards animals (and people), professional and she explains everything, so you don't walk out of there even more confused.

Why AAHA
Report
Unlike human hospitals, veterinary hospitals are not required to be accredited in the U.S.
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada.
AAHA-accredited hospitals are recognized as the best in the industry, and only 15% animal hospitals have achieved the high standards required for accreditation.
Receiving accreditation means that an animal hospital chooses to be evaluated on 900 standards in the following areas: anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, pharmacy, laboratory, patient care, pain management, recordkeeping, cleanliness, disease prevention, client service, practice leadership, safety, and continuing education.

Proper dental care can extend your pet's life by YEARS!
Animals can suffer from plaque and tartar build up just like us.
They can also get broken and infected teeth that can abscess and be very painful.
Gum disease or abscesses can result in an infection that spreads to the heart, lungs, kidneys, and other organs and cause life-threatening illnesses.
We recommend dental cleanings as soon as we see plaque and tartar buildup.
