We are currently seeking an EXPERIENCED Veterinary Technician. If you are qualified and interested in joining our team, please fill out our Application and return it back to us! Wharton Veterinary Clinic is proud to announce the addition of Dr. Lauren Davang to our practice. Dr. Davang is a 2017 graduate of the Texas A&M University of Veterinary Medicine.

She has been practicing equine medicine for the past 4 years. She is an avid barrel racer, a card holding member of the Women's Professional Rodeo Association and a director for Gulf Coast Barrel Racing Association. She enjoys all things equine but has a special interest in Equine Reproduction, mainly on Mare Management, Artificial and Deep Horn Insemination of fresh, cooled and frozen semen, as well as Embryo Flushes.

She is also trained to collect stallions and process semen for Artificial Insemination and for cooled, shipped semen. She has a great interest in Sports Medicine and Lameness, including Pre-Purchase Examinations, Diagnostic Imaging, Joint Injections and Rehabilitation.

Before Your First Visit

If you are first time client, we ask that you complete a NEW CLIENT APPLICATION before coming in for your pet's first visit.
Here are some tips to make your pets visit as stress-free as possible.
Please restrain your pet either by leash or in a pet carrier before entering our waiting room.
Some pets are a little nervous when meeting new people or being in new situations.
This will make it easier for both your pet and other clients at WVC.
If you suspect that your pet has a contagious disease, call us at 979-532-1431 before bringing in your pet.
Grooming

Our Groomer is Kayla Ammann.
She started in the grooming business 13 years ago.
At 15, she started bathing dogs at a shop in Houston and then furthered her grooming career by moving and working in El Campo.
When she is not working, she is spending time with her son Tripp.
She is excited to get back to grooming and being around animals full time!
She is ready to meet the Wharton Veterinary Clinic customers and have their pets leaving happy and looking great!
