Dr Dave saved me a trip to the Vet College in Ames & a total knee replacement for my 75lb Weimaraner when he tore his ACL in his knee needing surgery! After a long discussion of options I put the trust in my Uncle Dave, he did amazing and has done several other large dog ACL repairs since! That was over 5 yrs ago and I still have a very active 'senior' now, didn't slow him down a bit! Proud to travel 2 1/2 hrs to see him!
We already knew we loved them as our vet office, but after the care our dog received today, we really know how much more we love the new vet Dr. Logterman! He was great guiding us where we needed to go as far as treatment of our sick dog and you could tell he actually cared about Remy. Thanks for doing what you guys do! He is a third generation veterinarian.
David grew up riding with his father Dr. R.E.
Rasmussen on farm calls and watching small animal surgeries etc in the veterinary hospital that was built when he was 3 years old.
He received a BS degree in Dairy Science and graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981.
