My name is Dr. Sharilyn Nall. My husband, James, and I recently moved to Snyder, TX, to become the new owners of West Texas Animal Clinic II. We have two sons, Jordan and Jared. Our sons are both in college in the panhandle, and both have an interest in veterinary medicine as a career. Some of my hobbies include: horseback riding, reading, biking, and traveling with my family.
At a young age, I enjoyed watching the veterinarian work on our animals on our family's farm. When I was three years old, I would tell people that I was going to be a veterinarian. With lots of hard work and determination, that dream became a reality. The best part of being a veterinarian is bringing new life into the world - whether that be calves, foals, lambs, kids, pups, or kittens.
Rural mixed animal veterinary work has always been something I enjoy. I love working outside with horses and cattle then going inside to work with dogs and cats. The variety keeps life interesting. Some of my special interests include equine dentistry, small animal dentistry, and small-incision spays and neuters.
