Sheridan Animal Hospital was founded in 2013 by Dr. Sherry Teegardin, DVM to replace the mobile, equine practice formerly known as Central Michigan Equine Veterinary Services, LLC. A community need for local, small animal veterinary services prompted Dr. Teegardin to construct a new Animal Hospital just south of the Sheridan City Limits on M66, in Sheridan, Michigan.
Sheridan Animal Hospital's mission is to provide high quality, reliable, and technologically advanced veterinary care and exceptional customer service for pet owners in the rural, Central Michigan area. In pursuit of this mission, we promise to have a friendly smile, and a warm, willing attitude and we will treat each animal as if it is our own and each owner as if they are part of our family.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly, and we'll usher you into an examination room after checking in your pet.
In most cases, one of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet's medical history, current condition and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor.
One of our veterinarians will then examine your pet, ask you further questions and may recommend diagnostic tests if needed.

The Sheridan Animal Hospital Angel Critter Fund helps financially support our clients when their pet has a life threatening emergency and the client is unable to afford treatment.
The fund is fully financed by donations and money we raise.
There is a list of criteria that must be met to qualify for this service and it depends on if money is available in the fund.
The criteria is discussed at the time between client and doctor.
Donations are not tax deferred or deductible.
