Dr. Shawn Dutton is a 1987 graduate of the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Dutton joined our practice in 1987 when he and his wife Jan moved to St. Michael.
For the past 23 years they have enjoyed raising their family of two sons and a daughter, along with their three dogs.
He is a co- owner of the St. Michael Veterinary Clinic and the Big Lake Area Veterinary Hospital.
He enjoys offering both surgical and medical services to our clients.
In his leisure time, Dr. Dutton enjoys youth sports, running, instructing firearm safety, fishing, and hunting with his dogs.

Nicki Varner started working as an intern through Minnesota School of Business and joined the St. Michael/ Big Lake Veterinary team shortly after graduation in 2014.
She has enjoyed learning new techniques and experiences with such a gifted team.
