Originally from Barnum, Iowa, she graduated from Buena Vista University in 1985 and graduated from Iowa State University Veterinary Program in 1989.
Dr. Johnson & her Husband Jerry, who is Assistant Professor of Digital Media at Buena Vista University, have 2 grown children, Darren & Emily, a dog named Walter, and a cat named Amber.
Dr Bean is an Associate Veterinarian that came to work at Lake Animal Hospital in August of 2016.
She practiced in a mixed animal practice for several years in Storm Lake before joining the Lake Animal Hospital Team.
