Services
Referrals and Emergency Services
Report
If the pet's best interest is served by referral to a specialist for care, the primary clinician will make that recommendation.
Communication between the referring veterinarian, the specialist and the client is given the utmost importance and care.
Gates County Animal Clinic is available and capable of handling all forms of emergencies during regular business hours.
Your Pet’s Surgery
Report
We understand that surgery is not an easy experience for you or your pet.
At Gates County Animal Clinic we strive to ensure your pet's surgical procedure is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
We endeavor to provide our clients with a clear understanding of why a particular procedure is necessary, what the procedure entails, proper post-operative care, and convey any other information you may need to feel comfortable that you are making the right choice for your pet.
We are proud of the quality of surgical care we provide and the wide range of surgical procedures we offer.
Boarding
Report
Why rely on a friend or untrained pet sitter to take care of your pets while you go on vacation or travel for business?
Gates County Animal Clinic can provide your dog or cat with an affordable, safe and comfortable place to stay while you are away.
If an unexpected issue arises with your furry family member we are equipped with staff and supplies to treat your pet right away.
We feed our guests Purina EN Gastroenteric Formulated food to decrease the likelihood of stomach upset due to a change in diet.
Pet Dental Care
Report
Dental problems are easily prevented, but if left untreated, they can often lead to larger systemic problems due to oral bacteria entering the bloodstream and damaging the kidneys, heart and liver.
At Gates County Animal Clinic, we provide comprehensive dental exams and cleanings.
While the pet is anesthetized, we probe and chart the periodontal pockets.
Calculus on the teeth is removed with an ultrasonic scaler; periodontal pockets are cleaned, an antibiotic gel is applied to promote healing; and then the clean teeth are polished.
