Chachere Veterinary Clinic is a full-service, mixed-animal practice serving clients in Dayton, Liberty, Huffman, Cleveland, Humble, and other surrounding communities. We welcome cats and dogs as well as cattle, horses, and show animals, including goats, sheep, and pigs. For questions about animals not specifically mentioned here, simply give us a call.

Our 10,000-square-foot facility features plenty of room and the latest equipment for meeting all of your large and small animal needs. We offer general health care, like vaccinations and parasite control, plus diagnostic testing and surgery, laser therapy, and more. You'll also find our facility to be abundantly welcoming and surprisingly clean - all things considered!

We have a full complement of squeeze chutes to keep your large animals safe and secure while we perform any examinations or procedures, and we always help you unload and reload your large animals. When you arrive at Chachere Veterinary Clinic, please leave your large animal in your trailer while you check in at the front desk, and one of our technicians or staff will help you unload your large animal.
Services
Whether you're looking for expert care for your farm animals or you've just adopted a new puppy or kitten, you've come to the right place.
Chachere Veterinary Clinic has proudly served companion pets and farm animals in Dayton and the surrounding communities since our founder, Dr. Luke Chachere, opened the practice in 1984.
Our entire team of experienced veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members are fully committed to practicing high-quality medicine, with an emphasis on compassion and maintaining open communication with all of our clients.
Dr. Luke Chachere established Chachere Veterinary Clinic in August of 1984 after completing his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree at Texas A&M University.
Born and raised in Dayton, he returned home to serve his community as a veterinarian.
His wife, Julie, is also a lifelong Dayton resident and teaches school in Dayton I.S.D. Dr. Luke is the father of 3 children: Lukas, Elizabeth, and Rebecca.
He and his family are members of Calvary Baptist Church in Dayton.
He is also a seven-term member of the Dayton Independent School District Board of Trustees and a member of the Dayton Rotary Club.

The experienced team at Chachere Veterinary Clinic offers a full range of quality healthcare services for your cats and dogs.
And we understand that sometimes pigs and goats can be pets, too!
We'll treat them just as respectfully as we do your dogs and cats.
Every cat and dog should have an annual exam with appropriate bloodwork.
We'll also administer any necessary vaccines - always taking into account your pet's age, lifestyle, and risk factors.
You spend a lot of time and resources taking care of your show animals, and we're here to help you keep your cattle, pigs, sheep, and goats healthy.
If you've got a show animal not mentioned here, simply call us to see if we have the capability to provide proper treatment.
We provide Certificates of Veterinary Inspection, sometimes called health certificates, which are required for show animals by the Texas Animal Health Commission.
These certificates verify that your animal has been examined and tested for infectious, contagious, and communicable diseases if required.
