Dr. Louise Batt was born and raised in England. She came to the U.S. after she attended vet school and moved to beautiful Steamboat Springs in 2012. She founded High Country Vet Services (HCVS) in 2013. Since then she has built her practice to serve the horses and livestock of the area, as well as her clients, with compassion and her expertise. Dr. Taylor Karlin was born in Colorado Springs, but spent much of her childhood living in Steamboat and Maryland.
Owning and showing horses in Western Pleasure stemmed her interest in veterinary medicine. She attended the University of South Carolina and received a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She then returned to Colorado for veterinary school and graduated from Colorado State University. In her free time, you will find Taylor outdoors skiing, mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking.
Brooke was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She attend CSU Denver where she got her Bachelors in Business & Communications. She brings lots of experience in administrative work along with marketing & customer service.

Is traveling to our haul in clinic too time consuming for you, and to have us come to you and paying travel fees too much for your budget?
What if you had your horses, friends and their horses, and vet all in one place at the same time?!
How it works: All you need to do is gather 5 or more horses to your place to each get dental done by one of our vets.
If you are the one organizing the HCVS Dental Party, you become the host.
