Dr. Lisa Bucht grew up in the metro Detroit area and wanted to be a veterinarian starting at age 9.
She attended Michigan State University and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology in 1987 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1992.
She began her career as a veterinarian in Kalamazoo.
In 1997, Dr. Lisa opened Phoenix Road Animal Hospital in South Haven.
