Services
Wellness Exams
Our comprehensive wellness exams detect early health issues in pets through physical assessments and medical history reviews. These preventive visits help maintain pet health by identifying conditions like dental disease, obesity, and arthritis before they become serious. We tailor examination frequency based on age, breed, and medical history.
Emergency Vet Services
24/7 emergency services address critical pet health issues including trauma, breathing difficulties, and poisoning. Our facility handles emergencies with digital radiology, in-house lab testing, and stabilization treatments during regular hours. We prioritize immediate care for severe injuries and acute medical crises.
Pet Dentistry
Professional dental cleanings and oral exams prevent periodontal disease in pets. Our services include tartar removal, dental X-rays, and extraction of damaged teeth. Regular dental maintenance helps prevent systemic infections that can affect vital organs in dogs and cats.
In-House Diagnostics
On-site diagnostic capabilities enable rapid bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal testing for quick treatment decisions. Digital X-ray and ultrasound equipment provide immediate imaging for internal injuries and chronic conditions. Fast diagnostic results improve patient outcomes during emergencies.
Surgical Procedures
We perform routine and emergency surgeries including spaying/neutering, wound repair, and exploratory procedures. Our surgical suite supports anesthesia monitoring and post-operative care. The team handles both scheduled operations and urgent interventions for trauma cases.

I highly recommend this vet. My dog has been going there since we moved to Harper's Preserve and I would continue going even if we moved to a less convenient location. They are extremely organized and efficient in their service, transparent & reasonable in their prices, and thorough in treatment. Always answer the phone and have availability as well.

Hands down the best bet and staff Ive ever encountered. So kind and caring. They saved my baby Teddys life during the crazy winter freeze we had. Im so thankful for them. I wont take my babies anywhere else.

Dr. Kottenstette and his staff took excellent care of me and my dog today. We had to book a visit due to a mass on her leg and I found that Dr. K and his practice were accommodating with my schedule, very professional, and had competitive pricing for this area. I highly recommend his practice and will be a returning client.

Dr. K is the most amazing vet we have ever interacted with. We have 2 adopted dogs and we've had quite a few issues. We had bilateral torn CCL ligaments that required surgery, a broken tail, and a significant eye infection. In all circumstances, Dr. K took such good care of our babies. We won't go anywhere else. As long as he's working, he has us as faithful and thankful clients. Could not recommend him more.

Im in love with this place !!! They are very friendly, kind, loving, my only regret is, Dr John cant be my doctor too. This is the first time I had a vet, that wasnt trying to squeeze every last cent I could possibly come with, out of me. I left feeling I hadnt paid him enough. Oh and the best part is, our four, four legged children love it there to, and felt comfortable enough to just follow Dr John all around the place. His Family is Amazing too, they made sure our 4 dogs had water and received a treat, the little guy even prayed for my Goliath, you cant ask for anything better !!!
