Meet Our Team

Since childhood I showed a strong interest and bond with animals.
Born and raised in the tropical island of Puerto Rico, I had the opportunity of owning multiple dogs, rabbits, chickens and cats that seeded my interest in veterinary medicine.
I completed a DVM degree from Ross University in 2005 and performed my clinical study year at Auburn University.
In Auburn, I married Dr. McNamara and currently enjoy spending time with our daughters, Elora and Isabella.
For the past 10 years I have been practicing strictly small animal medicine where my strong interpersonal skills, compassion and love for animals have been very rewarding.

Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open.
If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately.
If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has.
Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.

3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.
Surfside Pet Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
It takes just 5 minutes to complete an application and will allow you to break down your payment into 6 monthly installments.
