Report
We took our Newfoundland Mack to have dental surgery on June 18, 2026. They removed 17 out of 42 teeth. Mack was sent home to us panting and clearly in distress. On Friday, June 19, we took Mack back in again because he was not any better. His temperature shot up to 106. Fairgrounds got it down a few degrees and sent Mack back home with us again. Mack clearly should not have been sent home back with us.
He should have been referred for 24 hour monitoring at a Animal hospital. The negligence on his care due to not being referred for extra monitoring most likely contributed to his death. On Saturday, we had to take Mac into the emergency vet and have him put down. If he had had extra monitoring, he might be alive today. Fairgrounds was very negligent in his care and I would not trust them with any Animal.
