Dr. Mims is originally from Staunton and is proud to be putting down roots for his practice in his hometown.
He graduated from Fort Defiance High School and received his Bachelors of Science from Virginia Tech.
He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg in 2010.
Dr. Mims spent his first two years in practice working in southwest Virginia in a practice that specialized in large and small animals.
He has been practicing in the Valley since 2012 and accomplished his dream of opening his own clinic in 2017.
