Digital Radiology
Report
X-rays are an important diagnostic tool for many common conditions we see in veterinary medicine such as fractures, vomiting, and breathing difficulties.
Our digital radiography system is one of the newest tools of medical technology.
This advanced system has the ability to capture and store x-rays to computer in digital form, making conventional x-ray films and developing chemicals quickly obsolete.
Traditions Animal Hospital offers state-of-the-art digital radiology.
With our system, when a radiograph is taken, the image is instantly converted into a digital format that can be viewed on a computer viewing station, just like your digital camera.

Wellness Exams
Report
Wellness exams are crutial to your pet's continued good health.
On average, pets age 7 times faster than humans, therefore, we recommend a comprehensive physical exam yearly on patients under 7 and twice yearly for patients 7 and older.
We schedule ample time for your appointment to ensure that Dr. Martin can go over her findings and to answer any questions you may have.

Vaccinations
Report
Vaccines are the cornerstone to disease control.
Every year animals become sick with transmittable diseases which can cause severe diarhhea, dehydration, aggression, vomiting, coughing and even death.
Some of these diseases are zoonotic (meaning they can be transmitted to you).
By vaccinating your dog or cat appropiately you can help them stay healthy and yourself.
Why are vaccines necessary?
Vaccines activate cells in your body to fight the virus.
When it has been defeated the cells retain a memory of the virus so next time they will know how to fight off infection.
