It is easily accessible from Interstate 35 from both the north and south, and also from inland via Haines Road and 40th Avenue West.

Dr. Marshak joined GAVC in 1999 under the mentorship of longtime prior owner Dr. Gerald Abelsen.
Dr. Marshak has been the primary owner since 2002.
He works exclusively on companion animals, and his primary interest is in internal medicine.
Dr. Marshak resides in Duluth with his wife, Jeana, his two sons Peyton and Zach, a Weimeraner named Isabelle and a Siberian Husky named Maximus.
His hobbies include computer programming (and gadgets of all shapes and sizes) and officiating soccer.
Dr. Nordquist started working for GAVC in 2008 after five years in southern Wisconsin.

We have two examination rooms, a full pharmacy and laboratory, surgical and radiology suites, treatment area, kennel space for up to 17 hospitalized patients, and euthanasia room so that the final moments in your pet's life can be spent in peaceful comfort.
Our diagnostic capabilities at GAVC include the Idexx VetLab Suite, allowing us access to laboratory results within 30 minutes of animal's presentation in the clinic if needed.

This convenient option allows you to order your food as you need it and saves you the inconvenience of having to come to the clinic to pick up food (especially an issue on weekends!)
