The doctors and staff are making every effort to provide the best possible care to our established patients. Also, due to limited availability, appointments are required. Visiting an emergency clinic is the best option for patients in need of urgent medical care. I've moved around and been to many vets, this one by far has the most caring staff. They saved my cats life once and that's something you never forget.

Our remodel in 2019 expanded the clinic to accomodate 2 full-time veterinarians, more exam rooms, and a surgery suite.

Dr. Brewer bought the land and started blueprints for Countryside Animal Clinic in 1979.
Jed visited during the construction phase, waiting for opening day.
Dr. Brewer attended the University of Georgia for undergraduate and veterinary college.
He furthered his training at the Animal Medical Center in New York City and owned Clearwater Animal Hospital before moving to Deland.
Dr. Brewer and his wife are high school sweethearts from Madison, Georgia.
Over the years they have taken in a multitude of animals they call pets, such as cows, horses, goats, dogs, cats, and chickens.

Amanda has her diploma as an Animal Care Specialist, she is a certified pharmacy technician, she has her A.A. from Daytona State College, an A.S. in Veterinary Technology, B.A.S. in Business Management, and is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager.
Amanda has worked in every area of the clinic.
She has a special interest in radiology and assisting in surgery.
As Countryside's practice manager, she is dedicated to employee management, patient care, and open client communication.
Amanda was born and raised in Deland.
