Services
Breeding Soundness Exams
Our breeding soundness exams evaluate reproductive health in horses through physical exams, semen analysis, and internal reproductive system checks. This service helps horse owners ensure successful breeding while identifying potential fertility issues. The 20-30 minute exam includes structural evaluations, eyesight checks, and microscopic semen analysis to optimize breeding outcomes for mares and stallions.
Pet Emergency Care
We provide immediate care for critical pet conditions including trauma injuries, toxin exposure, and birthing complications. Our emergency services address bite wounds, internal injuries, and acute symptoms requiring prompt veterinary intervention. While critical cases may be referred to larger facilities, we offer initial stabilization and urgent care for pets during regular business hours.
Heartworm Prevention
Our heartworm prevention program includes blood testing and customized prevention plans using monthly oral medications or 6-month injectable options. We help pet owners protect dogs and cats from this life-threatening disease through regular testing and tailored prevention strategies that consider each pet's specific risk factors and lifestyle.
Pet Dental X-Ray
Dental x-ray diagnostics help identify hidden dental issues in pets through advanced imaging technology. This service detects cavities, fractured teeth, and internal dental problems that aren't visible during routine oral exams. We recommend annual dental x-rays to maintain optimal oral health and prevent painful dental conditions in companion animals.
Farm Calls
Our farm call service provides veterinary care for large animals at their location, including pregnancy testing, breeding exams, and health certifications. We serve horses, cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs with mobile diagnostic capabilities and participate in the Iowa Green/Gold Tag program for livestock health documentation.
