Carey Animal Hospital
I'm always sure my cats get superior care while there and it doesn't hurt that the staff volunteers to carry the kitties to the car for me! Early morning walks, rainy day snuggles, frisbee in the park--many of our most enjoyable moments are spent with our pets. As best friends and family members, they deserve the most compassionate and professional veterinary care available.

At Carey Animal Hospital, our veterinarian and staff are extremely proud to serve the pets of the Oakley neighborhood in Cincinnati. We believe in treating animals with the very same unconditional love that they show us and giving them the chance to live as many years as possible with their owners. Our full-service animal hospital offers wellness plans, surgeries and teeth cleaning services, along with care for sick and injured pets.

While our veterinary family may be small, we're a close-knit group of animal lovers dedicated to delivering the finest care to our community. Education plays a large role in veterinary medicine.

Wellness Exams
Report
Pet wellness plans are the routine care that pets need throughout their lives to stay their healthiest.
Vaccines, parasite prevention, fecal testing, checks on organ function, and guidance on behavior, nutrition, and surgeries such as spay and neuter maximize your pet's health throughout every life stage.
When you visit us annually, wellness care and cat and dog exams help us address their changing life stage needs.
What your puppy or kitten needs to stay healthy can be very different than what your adult or senior pet needs to stay healthy.
Vaccinations
Report
Protecting your pet from preventable animal diseases is essential to their health and the health of the general population.
Though the majority of these diseases are not contagious to people, some like rabies are.
Infected animals spread rabies through bites and scratches and the disease is prevalent in wildlife.
Due to the threat of the rabies virus, vaccination is required by law in most states.
In general, cat & dog vaccinations control the spread of serious and contagious diseases.
Furthermore, many animal-specific diseases, such as distemper in dogs and panleukopenia in cats, are only rare now because pet owners have been responsibly vaccinating their pets.
Surgery
Report
Carey Animal Hospital's doctors have the skills and equipment necessary to perform cat and dog surgeries at the highest level of safety.
We understand that as a part of your family, your pet's well-being and comfort are extremely important to you, and they are to us, too.
That's why we follow a strict pet surgery protocol that requires a pre-op exam and blood work to evaluate health, custom anesthesia and pain management, and continuous monitoring throughout each procedure.
Your four-legged best friend is in capable, caring hands with our team here in Cincinnati, OH.
