Services
Crossroads Veterinary Hospital is in the community of Diamond Springs, California, which is adjacent to the city of Placerville, the central hub of El Dorado County.
Our friendly staff will greet you as you enter our hospital.
Our doctor's and staff will treat your pet's as they treat their own pet's.
From digital x-rays to an advanced in-house laboratory and fully equipped surgical suite, medical equipment allows us to provide advanced medical care with personalized attention in a warm and caring environment.
I enjoy people AND pets and believe I have the best position in the hospital as I interact with both; welcoming clients and patients as a receptionist since 2015.
My husband, Bob (yes, together we are BobKat!) and I have two grown, married children and we enjoy being grand'paw'rents to their four-legged babies.
We have two dogs, a Leonberger named Osa and a very active German Shorthair Pointer mix we call Gryffon.
We enjoy outdoor time hiking and running with them.
I receive great pleasure in the excitement of a new puppy or kitten; helping and watching them as they grow up.
Your pet just doesn't seem like himself today.
What should you do?
Call us.
Our caring staff will help you decide if your pet's symptoms warrant a visit with one of our doctors.
Many times, sooner is better than later where early intervention can lead to a faster recovery.
One of the easiest ways to insure a long, healthy life for your pet is through regular wellness exams.
Pets age at a faster rate than people and their health can change more rapidly too.
At Crossroads Veterinary Hospital, we recommend regular visits and appropriate screenings for every stage of your dog or cat's life.
At Crossroads Veterinary Hospital, you can expect state of the art medical care for your four-legged companions.
We believe in nurturing the human-animal bond and creating a harmonious relationship between people and animals.
You can expect to be greeted by a courteous receptionist, clean exam rooms, friendly doctors, and caring technicians.
We appreciate the role we get to play in your pet's health care.
If you have any questions or comments about how we can care for your pet, please contact us today at (530) 642-9504.
Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet.
Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen.
As owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.
Pet insurance companies are beginning to offer the pet owner more of an ability to customize their coverage by allowing them to choose their own level of deductible or co-insurance.
