Laparoscopic Surgery
Report
Laparoscopic surgery is a minimally invasive surgical procedure that enables surgeries to be done with an operating hole that is just one centimeter wide or less than 1/2 of an inch.
It provides animals with a superior quality of care and precision for routine surgeries such as spays and neuters as well as for surgeries such as exploratories.
There is far less pain for your pet than traditional surgery and virtually no bleeding or bruising for them during surgery.
Video Otoscopy The Laparoscopic equipment also allows us to exam dogs and cats' ear canals through video otoscopy.
Laser Surgery
Report
North Branch Veterinary Hospital offers laser surgery for their patients.
Instead of using a scalpel blade or scissors, the doctors use a CO2 laser to do the cutting.
The laser cuts and seals the blood vessels and nerve endings.
This results in less bleeding, less pain, less swelling, reduced risk of infection, and a faster recovery.
Laser surgery also enables the doctors to perform a variety of surgeries safer than with traditional means.
Many dog owners admire the unique looks and personalities of purebreds, but also worry about the fate of millions of pets euthanized each year.
