Dr. Howell was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.
Her family moved to York, Pennsylvania when she was 5 years old.
She attended The Pennsylvania State University and received a bachelor's of Science in Animal Bioscience.
She then attended The Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, St. Kitt's West Indies.
She performed her clinical year at Oklahoma State Veterinary School.
She moved to Tennessee and married Dr. Scotty Howell in 2005.
She has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2004 working in Paris, Tn and Jackson prior to purchasing the Trenton Animal Clinic in 2008.

If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately.
If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on call 7 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has.
Emergencies can be things such as hit by car and chocolate ingestion.
