Services
Beginning when they are 8 weeks old, we recommend puppies and kittens are regularly seen by our veterinarians for wellness examinations, vaccinations, and deworming as needed.
We recommend puppies and kittens are vaccinated at 8, 12, and 16 weeks of age.
Following this, yearly examinations and vaccines as needed are recommended.
After their first 1-year vaccination for rabies, we offer 3-year rabies vaccinations for both dogs and cats.
It is important for your pets to be on preventative medications to protect them from parasites.

Adoption is a cornerstone of our practice.
We at Rescued Heart have been rescuing animals and re-homing them since we opened in 2010.
We have had many successful adoptions, and we strive to continue our rescue efforts in the community.
Most of our adoptable animals have come to us by owner relinquishment or abandonment.
Each animal has its own, unique story of how they have come to be in our care.
We mainly have dogs and cats available for adoption, but, on rare occasion, we have had birds and other critters, too.
