Our veterinarian provides full-service care, including surgical, dental, radiology, and preventive health services. We provide care to dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and a variety of small mammal pets from dwarf hamsters to pot bellied pigs in Peoria, IL and the surrounding areas. A native of Chicago, Dr. Charles Burmeister earned his B.S. at Western Illinois University.
In 1983 after receiving a D.V.M. degree from the University of Illinois.
Dr. Burmeister joined the staff at this facility in 1984.
He left to practice in Pittsfield, IL, and later Grayslake, IL.
In 1995 Dr. Burmeister and his family returned to the Peoria area.
In 2000, Dr. Burmeister bought the practice and named it All Pets Veterinary Hospital to highlight the exotics we see in addition to dogs and cats.

If you find that you need emergency assistance after hours, Tri-County Animal Emergency Clinic which is located in Peoria is available to provide emergency care to dogs and cats.
They are available on nights, weekends, and holidays when we are normally closed.
In the event you have to visit an emergency clinic, the records are generally sent to us so that we may follow up if your pet needs further care.
