Dr. Pennington is a 1979 graduate of Ohio State University.
He began practicing in Connecticut in 1980 and became the owner of the Windsor Animal Clinic in 1986.
Growing up on a farm in Ohio, his love for animals paved the way to a very fruitful career that has included working with Hartford Area youth in a veterinary science 4-H club which he started, helping animal charities and rescue groups, spearheading a major dog walk, and providing pet therapy for the elderly.
He and his wife, Andrea are residents of Windsor and love to spend their time traveling with their sons, Parker and Colin.

Vaccination and wellness exams for your pets are important in preventing infectious diseases that not only can make them sick, but can be fatal.
Puppies and kittens are most susceptible and need a series of vaccinations between 6-16 weeks of age.
Core vaccines are considered vital to all pets based on risk of exposure, severity of disease or transmissibility to humans.
For Dogs: Vaccines for canine parvovirus, distemper, canine hepatitis and rabies are considered core vaccines.
Non-Core vaccines are given totally based on risk of exposure and include, Bordetella and Parainfluenza for Kennel Cough, Influenza, and Lyme.
