For your convenience, we also offer drop-off appointments Monday through Friday for all visits including wellness/vaccine visits, nail trims, sick pets, etc.
Your pet can be cared for by our staff while you are at work or running errands. Pet owners have the ability to see the same veterinarian at each visit and can also work with the schedule with multiple doctors on staff.

My name is Dr. Lisa Thilges and I am the owner of Prairie View Animal Hospital.
I grew up in the Chicago suburb of Elgin, Illinois.
I attended Iowa State University where I received my B.S. in Animal Science in 2002.
I decided to attend Iowa State University for several reasons.
I wanted to leave suburban Illinois and attend a university that was large enough to offer the opportunities and diversity that ISU has, but also had that intimate, small town atmosphere that Iowa is known for.
I originally attended ISU as a Chemical Engineering student, but my love for animals drew me toward the veterinary profession.
