Powell Animal Hospital is a full-service companion animal hospital, providing medicine, dentistry, dental radiographs, surgery, orthopedics, ultrasonography, echocardiology, stem cell therapy, boarding and grooming to meet all your pet's needs. Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination.
Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems. We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best. Our hospital is equipped to provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to care for your pets' complete health care needs. Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures including orthopedics.
We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Using the most modern equipment, the patient's vital signs are monitored during all anesthetic procedures.

Feedback & Reviews

I love this animal hospital.
My first visit was easy and the doctor took the time to make my two pups feel comfortable during the examine.
I recommend them highly.
We were traveling through Tennessee when our 16 yr old cat became ill.
It was determined she was probably in renal failure & we decided to have her put to sleep.
Both the tech & Dr. Peterson were so compassionate & made me feel confident we made the right decision.
They were amazing.
We had just adopted a puppy and she ended up very sick a couple of days after we brought her home.

Vaccinations
Report
Vaccinations are important to be updated regularly to prevent diseases than can shorten the lifespan of dogs and cats.
Vaccinating your pets annually helps lessen the spread of infectious diseases throughout pet populations.
Some vaccinations don't just protect your pet, but they can protect you too.
In addition to the core vaccinations for your cat, be sure to talk with your veterinarian about the Feline Leukemia vaccine.
