Dr. Neal Winnacott established Redwood Animal Hospital in 1995 and we have been serving our patients in our current location since 2001. Dr. Winnacott received his bachelor's degree from Humboldt State University and his D.V.M. from Cornell University. After finishing his education, he returned to the North Coast to open his practice with the goal of serving the local community.
He is the owner and veterinarian on staff. He is a graduate of Humboldt State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology and received his D.V.M from Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. He practiced his first year in San Diego and moved back to Humboldt County in 1988, opening up Redwood Animal Hospital in 1995. He is pictured here with Toemas, one of our resident cats.
Marguerite graduated from Humboldt State University with a Bachelors' in Biology/Medical Technology in 1983 and worked for four years in the clinical laboratory at Cornell School of Veterinary medicine, one year at Scripps institute in La Jolla, and many years at Mad River Community Hospital lab.
