Our Team

Dr. Tim Gaffrey was born in Redlands, California and grew up in California and Virginia.
He played tennis and ran cross country in high school and is an Eagle Scout.
As an undergrad, Dr. Gaffrey majored in forestry at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and originally aspired to be a firefighter (can you spot him in the picture of the forest firefighters?).
His interest in ecology and wildlife eventually grew into a desire to become a veterinarian.
After graduating summa cum laude from Cal Poly, he went on to attend North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
