She received her Bachelors of Science from Berry College in Rome, Georgia.
In 2002, she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University.
Right away, she moved to northeast Georgia for the natural splendor and vibrant community.
She has always considered this area 'home'.

Astrid has been working in the veterinary field since 2005 and has been with Mt.
Yonah Animal Hospital since our doors opened in 2013.
While she is cross-trained as a client service representative and a veterinary assistant, Astrid is also our go-to person for anything inventory or computer related and helps keep the office running smoothly.
Originally from the desert of Palm Springs, CA, she moved to northeast Georgia in 2002 and fell in love with all the trees, the country life, and the people-- including her husband James.
