Ukiah Veterinary Hospital
Ukiah Veterinary Hospital was originally established by Dr. Art McChesney. He sold it in 1971 to Dr. Don Aldine, who ran the practice until the most recent sale to Dr. Edward Haynes in 1994. Dr. Haynes was born in San Francisco. He was raised in Marin County, lived in U.S. Virgin Islands, New York, and La Jolla, before returning to San Francisco Bay Area (Piedmont, Oakland, Hayward) then to Davis, Eureka, finally Ukiah.

Haynes' family pets include dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, chickens, Moluccan Cockatoo, American Kestrel, Red Shouldered Hawk, and a Great Horned Owl. Contact Ukiah Veterinary hospital today for an appointment with the knowledgeable and friendly Dr. Haynes. His experience ensures your pet's comfort and safety. Services
Many pets are destroyed because of behavior problems.
Aggression, inappropriate elimination, and property destruction are common in undisciplined animals.
Responsible owners who have established dominance and then obedience-trained their dog rarely have problems.
Canines are not humans and vice versa.
Yet many people think of their pets as children while the dog sees their owner as a big dog.
Canine social structure is a hierarchy (ladder like) with the alpha male and female at the top and each individual on a separate rung below.
