Dr. Schmidt recently purchased the practice in 2014!
She graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine (GO GREEN!) and also obtained her Bachelor's of Science degree from MSU.
Dr. Schmidt came to MVC in 2011 after completing and internship is Carbondale, Colorado.
She works to provide the best compassionate care for our large and small animal patients.
Dr. Schmidt is a member of the American and Colorado Veterinary Medical Associations and the American Association of Equine Practitioners.

Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open.
If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come to the hospital immediately.
If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
Unfortunately right now we only have one veterinarian available to see emergencies during the day and evenings "after-hours".

Montezuma Veterinary Clinic understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
