You Belong Here You're on our website, but we want to talk about you. You deserve something truly special. A place where people treat you as an individual. As a friend. A place where you feel welcome, and confident that your pet is receiving the best veterinary care available. A place you can truly love. Because after all. We have incredibly high standards in medical care.

Why? We believe your dog, cat, or horse deserves no less. And we believe that a lesson in biology is that you have two choices: grow or decay. We choose to grow, and that's a philosophy that radiates throughout everything we do. This ranges from the advancements in the cutting-edge tools we use, to the way our staff trains, to the way that we cater to you and your pet's experience, and everything in between.

Because your pet is family, and we take this responsibility seriously. We believe in relationships. We believe that it's important to get to know you, your goals and concerns for your pet, and care for you in a genuine and personal way.

We believe that regular checkups and wellness exams are critical to your pet's well-being.
These wellness exams give us a chance to evaluate the overall health of your pet while also giving us a baseline for their own unique bodies and tendencies.
Not only do these exams keep us up-to-date with your pet's health, they also allow us to detect potential problems before they become serious.
Your pet will be thoroughly examined by a veterinarian and this checkup gives us vital information to help keep your pet healthy.

Getting a new puppy or kitten is very exciting.
You have a lot to look forward to.
The great companionship that a good pet can bring is very rewarding.
However, puppies and kittens come with a lot of responsibility and work.
Here at Associated Veterinary Medical Center, we are here to help you with your new addition.
First, you should always bring your new puppy or kitten in for a full nose-to-tail examination to make sure that you have a healthy new animal.
You also want to get him or her familiar with our veterinary hospital.
Happier Feline Visits
Report
Owning a cat can be one of the most wonderful, rewarding experiences there is.
And as many cat owners know, bringing their cat into the veterinary hospital can be a stressful experience - for both you and your feline!
And while you're probably aware that it's important to minimize stress for your pet's emotional well-being, you may not be aware that it's actually important for diagnostic purposes too!
When a cat experiences stress, it alters different physiological systems - such as their blood pressure, heart rate, and body temperature.
Equine

The key to excellent preventative care for your horse is an annual wellness exam.
This yearly exam is a good time to discuss nutrition, behavior problems, emerging disease threats, and to develop a parasite control treatment plan that is specific to your own needs.
The annual wellness exam provides an opportunity to bring your horse up to date on season-specific vaccinations and prepare for upcoming travel.
Annual wellness exams are the best way to detect and treat health problems before they become serious.
