Tech appointments will continue to be curbside, but doctor appointments will allow one client in per pet being seen. Any client that is being seen by a doctor who prefers to still do curbside appointments may choose to do so. The safety of our staff and our clients are our priority! Sydney was born and raised in CT. She is a Uconn graduate with a degree in Fisheries and Wildlife Conservation. After teaching high school in New Haven for a few years, Sydney realized she wanted to work with animals. She volunteered her summer at East Side learning from the ground up and is now a full time staff member. In her free time she enjoys video games, reading books and snuggling with her two cats.
Kara has been a Vet Tech at East Side since 2017. She has been a Vet Tech for many years and brings a level of expertise to her role. After assisting in surgery Kara is excellent at post surgical recovery and many animals get held and snuggled by Kara as they wake up.

Cindy V. grew up in the Midwest but settled with her family locally.
She got her Vet Assistant certificate from Middlesex and began working at East Side in 2013.
She loves working with animals and has both a dog and a cat at home.
Cindy is a level 2 reiki consultant and loves working with animals who are highly stressed or coming out from surgery, it is a wonderful tool to have at the clinic.
Ayanna joined East Side as Practice Manager in 2021.
Her professional background is in Healthcare Administration.

Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open.
If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us immediately.
We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has.
Usually an emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life.
