Dr. Albert Williams grew up on a farm in Lake City, Florida, where he was surrounded by everything from dogs and cats to cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens.
When he was three years old and got his first pet, a German Shepherd puppy named Skeeter, he accompanied his mother and the pup to the local veterinarian's office.
As soon as the doctor entered the exam room, young Dr. Williams was in awe.
He knew that he wanted to become an animal doctor himself!
Dr. Williams began his journey by studying animal science at the University of Florida.
