We have been providing quality care in the same location since 1985 and Dr. Grimes has been here since 1991.
We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet, and give them the same loving attention and care.
We are a group of highly trained, experienced animal lovers who are devoted to giving our patients the best care possible.

Dr. Grimes graduated from Kansas Sate University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987.
She moved to the Auburn area and began working at Animal Clinic at Lake of the Pines in 1991.
In 2004, she purchased the hospital.
Dr. Grimes enjoys the variety and challenges of veterinary medicine; including surgery, dentistry, medical work ups and patient care.
She is especially appreciative of the long term relationships with many of the pets and their families.
She and her husband are active in the community and both of her children have attended or still attend local schools.

We have a full on site laboratory that allows us to utilize tests and equipment to better care for your pet.
We are dedicated to providing the highest level of service and care, and our on site laboratory is one way we achieve that goal.
We are able to perform blood panels, complete blood counts, Urinalysis and many more tests.
Results are usually available within an hour.

We provide digital dental x-rays to help us better care for your pet.
This is another way that we achieve our goal of providing your pet with the highest standard in veterinary medicine.
Digital dental x-rays provide a whole picture of your pet's mouth and allows our veterinarians to see your pet's oral cavity more clearly.

Radiology is a technique and diagnostic tool we use to look inside the body in a completely non-invasive way.

In other words, the use of radiology gives us a view of the internal organs in your pet's body that we otherwise could not see.
It's an important diagnostic tool that helps veterinarians detect and prevent illnesses.
The images produced by digital radiography are of much better quality than film radiographs and can be manipulated digitally, giving us the best possible radiographic information to help us diagnose your pets.
