Grace Veterinary is a locally owned general practice, focusing on FEAR FREE wellness care and preventative medicine, functional medicine, and nutrition. We have a high standard of care and a state of the art surgical suite. We are passionate about the emotional and physical wellbeing of pets. We take the 'pet' out of 'petrified' because fear free visits are important to us.

We use expert techniques that reduce fear, stress, and anxiety during doctor examinations, such as considerate approach, gentle control, play, and behavior conditioning. Pets like going to the vet when they come to Grace Veterinary Center! We use peanut butter, squeeze cheese Dr. Laura Laxton's favorite! and other tasty treats for distractions during procedures, such as vaccinations and lab testing.

We use gentle touch, stress reducing pheromones, and cozy surfaces for exam tables. For unique pets, we also offer pre-visit medications, so they have a relaxing "spa day" experience. Our mission: Fear free pets and wagging tails!

Our Story
Report
One sunny day in Estero on a park bench, Grace's family business was started.
We wanted a place where we could take care of our crew while working in a positive culture.
Our team meets monthly to collaborate on making your experience our main focus.
We take pride in our hospitals and treat our staff, clients, and patients as an extension of our family.
When you walk into Grace, you'll feel the kind warmth and smell the fresh popcorn (we really love popcorn!).
Plus, we've always got squeeze cheese for the fur babies to enjoy during their visit!
Comfort Room
Report
Designed specifically for euthanasias, palliative/hospice care, and quality of life consultations.
The hardest thing about opening your heart to love an animal is being faced with their mortality.
When it comes time to having a difficult discussion, evaluating quality of life, or saying goodbye, we wanted Grace family pets and their people to have a private, comforting room in which to do so.
Upstairs, our comfort room is far from the bustle of clinic life.
There is a separate exit to allow you the privacy and time you need.
Grace Vets Rescue Alliance
Report
Roxy was the first patient in Grace Vets Rescue Alliance.
This 8 month old sweet Havanese girl was diagnosed with Legg-Calve-Perthes Disease, where her bone cells died and fractured her left hip joint.
She was very painful and limping.
Grace and the community donated funds to help cover her hip reconstructive surgery with our veterinary surgeon, so she could walk again without extreme pain.
Roxy was adopted into a lovely home.

One of the newest trends in health and wellness is puppy yoga, and from its name alone I think you could already tell why that's the case.
I mean, is there anything more adorable and fulfilling than doing yoga poses with a furry friend right by your side?
We bring the puppies and the fun!
We're 100% certain that puppy yoga will bring a positive change in your life, whether you're a yoga newbie or a veteran yogi looking for something fresh to spice up your workout.
It's very much like Mom & Baby Yoga in a sense that doing yoga with a puppy or dog gives you a wonderful opportunity to bond with a puppy that's needs a new home or to reduce stress by playing with baby animals.
