Alpine Animal Hospital
From preventative care to specialized dentistry, we're pleased to provide a wide variety of professional veterinary services for the pets of the Roaring Fork Valley. At Alpine Animal Hospital, we are inspired by animals' extraordinary relationships with their humans and how that relationship can bring people together. We are fully dedicated to serving and celebrating those bonds through our service to our patients and clients.

Alpine Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital welcoming companion animals in need of emergency treatment as well as preventative, medical, surgical, oncology, and dental care. Beyond providing exceptional pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and specific to your and your animal's needs by offering multiple exam rooms designed for cats only, larger canines, or saying goodbye to your best friend.

We also offer home health and hospice care for those pets who are not going to travel well or who need the comfort of your home. At Alpine Animal Hospital, we are committed to maximizing the quality and longevity of your pets' lives.

Our Team
Report
Dr. Louise Marron, a Colorado native, is a board-certified veterinary dentist.
She also provides general medical care for companion animals.
With an aptitude for science and a passion for connecting with animals, Dr. Marron recognized Veterinary Medicine was her calling as a young girl.
She began working in her home-town veterinary clinic at 13 years of age and has never strayed off the veterinary path.
She attended college and veterinary school at Colorado State University.
Upon graduating as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2006, she joined the team at Alpine Animal Hospital.
Companion Animal Services
Report
Because of the shorter lifespan of our pets, we stress the importance of an annual physical examination.
Thorough check-ups and preventive care can help alleviate serious health problems.
We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best.
Our state-of-the-art surgical suite provides for the performance of a wide variety of surgical procedures.
The most common soft tissue procedures we perform are spays, neuters, and mass removals.
Other soft tissue surgeries are done for various reasons, such as removing foreign bodies from the gastrointestinal tract, removing neoplastic organs, removing bladder stones, and repairing damaged structures (e.g., diaphragmatic tears).
Fear Free
Report
Is your pet showing signs of bad stress and anxiety before arriving at the veterinary office?
We are proud to have Fear Free certified professionals on our team and are dedicated to caring for your pet's emotional well-being as well as his or her physical well-being.
Ask us if pre-visit sedation or supplements might take the edge off and keep your pet happy and relaxed.
We will keep our voices low and calm, and refrain from using any force to examine, test, or treat your pet.
We'll use gentle control techniques, innovative tools, and medication when necessary to ensure your pet's emotional health isn't sacrificed for the sake of medical care.
AAHA Accreditation
Report
The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) is an international association of more than 36,000 veterinary care providers who treat companion animals.
Established in 1933, AAHA is well-known among veterinarians and pet owners for its high standards in veterinary practices and quality care.
AAHA is the only organization that accredits animal hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Approximately 3,000 AAHA-accredited hospitals voluntarily choose to be evaluated on 900 standards in the following areas: quality of care, diagnostic and pharmacy, management, medical records, and facility.
Testimonials
Report
The Alpine Animal Hospital team appreciates you taking the time to share your feedback with us.
Alpine Animal Hospital takes great care of our beloved golden.
They go out of their way to make any and all visits a no-stress experience, using everything from toys, to spatulas of peanut butter, to pure love and happiness for the pups.
They have taken great care and did a great job with all visits - including spay, annual check ups, and handling dog bites.
Thank you for taking such good care!
Our dog loves visiting the vet and you can tell her excitement from when we pull up in the car.
