The VetBus is a San Diego-based mobile small animal veterinary clinic that provides spays, neuters, professional anesthetic dentals, general surgeries and medicine in a state-of-the-art custom-built 33 foot vehicle. The clinic is veterinary-owned by Dr. Vera Heidolph and is based out of North County in San Diego. We support the efforts of animal shelters and rescues, and are committed to being part of the solution to the pet over-population dilemma.
We offer high-quality, compassionate and individualized veterinary care, including spays and neuters. We no longer participate in the county's low-cost spay and neuter program because there are several other larger local resources available to the public. We can customize our house call services to best serve your companion animal(s), especially those who are nervous or fearful in a veterinary office.
When you need to make a very difficult decision about a beloved family member's quality of life, the VetBus can help determine if euthanasia is indicated.

Hi! My name is Bosco.
I'm a 6 year old El Cajon Special!
I'm part Boston Terrier and part Pit Bull.
You might not be able to tell from my cushy-looking surroundings in this picture, but I had a rough start in life.
I was dumped at a veterinary clinic in El Cajon as a puppy by people who couldn't afford to surrender me to a shelter.
My mom, Dr. Heidolph, saw me, fell in love with me, and rescued me.
Everyone who meets me is surprised that I'm such a sweet Pit Bull, but I wish they knew that we are a really misunderstood breed.

Regenerative Medicine
Report
Ever wished your dog could heal herself/himself?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is one modality of regenerative medicine that enables self-healing by utilizing your dog's own blood, which naturally contains platelets.
Platelets are the body's "First Responders" to an injury.
They aid in the repair process for diseased or damaged tissue, like osteoarthritis, soft tissue injuries and wounds.
Platelets attract stem cells, which are essential for tissue regeneration.
The growth factors that platelets contain are also integral in healing inflammation and new tissue regeneration.
