Easterwood Equine Hospital has state-of-the-art imaging to help monitor the entire gestation and has a comprehensive understanding of health concerns to monitor your horse for.
Additionally, we provide insemination services.

This, however, varies from pregnancy to pregnancy.
Horse Euthanasia
Report
Our veterinarian near Calera offers in office or at home euthanasia options for your horse.
Euthanasia is something most people would rather not think about, unfortunately, horses become old and ill, and when they appear to be suffering, sometimes pet euthanasia is the most caring and compassionate thing a pet owner can do for their horse.
We understand it can be difficult for horse owners to determine when it's time to say goodbye to their beloved horse, especially if your horse has good days and bad days.
Lameness Examination
Report
During any stage of a horse's life, it's possible for him or her to develop lameness.
Usually, lameness occurs from strain, injury, or stress.
It's vital to seek out the care of a skilled veterinarian like Dr. Jud Easterwood for a lameness examination if you notice any signs of your horse having difficulty walking.
Information about your horse's medical history and lifestyle can help our vet accurately diagnose the cause of the lameness.
The staff at Easterwood Equine Hospital will ask you questions specifically related to lameness, such as when it first began.
