Our Practice
Report
Ocoee Animal Hospital was founded in 1978 as a small "country" practice in an area that did not have access to a veterinary facility.
Two of our doctors acquired the practice in 1983 with the vision of becoming a full-service, high-quality practice in North Georgia, Southeastern Tennessee, and Western North Carolina.
Slowly, then moving more quickly, the practice grew.
We started in a small office located north of our current location.
During our time at that location, we had to expand the building to accommodate our growing practice.

Diagnostic
Report
At Ocoee Animal Hospital, our goal is to keep your pet happy and healthy.
We're able to do that for sick and injured animals largely thanks to modern diagnostics.
Digital radiography and ultrasound as well as telemedicine capabilities all contribute to this goal.
Diagnostic imaging can be an alternative to exploratory surgery.
It allows us to examine your pet's internal organs and body systems to better diagnose their conditions.
There are different types of diagnostic imaging and the type your pet needs will depend on their symptoms and the affected area of the body.

Pet Dental Care
Report
Dental care is an essential part of your pet's overall health.
When oral hygiene is neglected, pets can develop dental disease which negatively affects other systems in the body and may lead to tooth loss.
A pet's dental health is just as important as their physical health, however, it often goes overlooked.
The reality is that oral hygiene plays a huge part in ensuring your pet lives a long, healthy life.
Dental disease is a common but serious problem.
Approximately 80% of pets will develop it by the time they're three and, if left untreated, it will spread to the tooth socket and destroy bone.
