Dr. Alexandrea Baudy is the Co-Owner and Medical Director of South Lafourche Veterinary Clinic.
She was born in Port Arthur, TX, and as a child had many pets, including dogs, hermit crabs, frogs, and crickets.
She attended Prairie View A&M University and graduated cum laude with a bachelors' degree in biology in 2007.
She then attended veterinary school at Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine, where she met her husband, Dr. Christopher Baudy.

Post-Anesthesia Discharge Instructions

Your pet has undergone general anesthesia.
For the safety of you and your animal, we recommend the following post-operative instructions be carefully reviewed and followed.
If you have any questions or concerns about your pet's condition after anesthesia/surgery, please call the clinic at (985)635-4500 Monday-Friday 8 am- 12 pm & 1 pm - 5 pm.
The patient must be kept indoors after surgery/anesthesia.
This will enable you to closely monitor your pet's recovery and will prevent complications and possible death from exposure to outdoor temperature extremes.

We recommend performing pre-anesthetic blood work with any procedure or treatment that may contain sedation or anesthesia.
This is to assist in detecting any potential vital organ abnormalities prior to any treatment.
This will be an additional charge of $118.00.
Capstar Acknowledgement: I understand that if any fleas are seen on my pet that a Capstar (a pill that kills fleas for up to 24 hours) will be administered at an additional charge of $7.74.
This is to protect the hospital and any other patients from any possible flea infestation or flea bites.
This is to assist in detecting any potential vital organ abnormalities prior to any treatment.
