Dr. Nelson is a 2008 graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Since his graduation he has been practicing in the Capital district as an associate veterinarian until starting Helping Paws Veterinary Hospital in 2017.
While away from the practice he keeps himself busy, whether its Lacrosse or Hockey practice's for the kids or trying to cook a healthy meal for the family.
They share their home with three cats, Milo, Millie and Rosie and other pets the kids were able to talk him into keeping.
