3D Digital X-Ray - Our on-site digital x-ray equipment provides high-quality radiographs to aid in the diagnosis of many disorders. Dr. Meg Bacon grew up in Michigan, went to high school on the east coast and eventually made her way to Colorado in 2005 to go to Colorado State University for an undergraduate degree in Equine Science. A love of outdoors and plenty of educational and professional opportunities kept her in the state.
Dr. Bacon has a long string of experience and education in veterinary medicine and animal science including attending veterinary technician school, obtaining a Master of Science in Biomedical Science (BS), and then a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). She worked in a variety of practice types as a Certified Veterinary Technician over an 8 year time frame before and during veterinary school.
She has worked as both a large animal and small animal associate veterinarian in high mountain Colorado. She comes to Ned Vet to bring her skills in Fear Free medicine as well as animal chiropractic (Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic Graduate, International Veterinary Chiropractic Association Certified).
