Our History

Duncan Veterinary Hospital, formerly Town and Country Veterinary Hospital, is a small animal veterinary practice.
It was founded by Dr. Charles Wulz, after buying 'Wild Bill' Ryan's practice in 1957.
In 1972, Dr. Wulz and Dr. William Randall moved the clinic from its original location on South Highway 81 to its current location on North Highway 81.
Dr. Wulz left the practice in 1974 and Dr. Randall was briefly joined by Dr. John Minson until he left about a year later to open his own practice.
In 1979, Dr. Bob Cross joined Town and Country and the two practiced together for many years.

Surgery Release Form- Whenever you have a pet coming in for surgery or any procedure that may require anesthesia, a release form will be required.
Drop-off Release Form- To better accommodate your needs, we offer the option of dropping off your pet for exams.
Whether it is for your Annual Vaccinations, or your pet is ill; you can leave your pet with us and we will contact you when they are ready to go home.
This makes us aware of any feeding schedules, toys or blankets that you will be bringing, or medical conditions your pet may have.

Duncan Veterinary Hospital and Pet Resort understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
