Dr. Ed Hastain has been serving the animals of Summit County since 1990.
The Breckenridge Animal Clinic strives to provide the best quality small animal care while retaining a "small town doctor" feel that is often missing from many large animal hospitals.
Our staff and our doctors take a personal approach to treating your animal and we really take the time to get to know both the animal and the owner which helps us determine the best course of action.
The Breckenridge Animal Clinic is focused on preventative care.

At the Breckenridge Animal Clinic, we are focused on preventative care and encourage regular annual exams (senior pet bi-annual exams) to help catch any health issues before they become serious problems.
We offer a wide range of veterinary services to keep your companions feeling their best.
At this time we are small animal practice only.
This means we do not provide services for large animals (such as horses or cows).
We can treat some common ailments in exotic pets such as ferrets, rabbits, turtles, and birds, however we do refer out more serious treatments in these animals to our specialty partner clinics.

This team has tons of compassion and huge hearts.
They treat my fur children like family and are always available when my pet is in need of attention at the last minute.
I never feel rushed and always get all of my questions answered.
I have been going to this clinic for 20 years and will continue.
My dogs are really important to me and that means to me that finding the "right" veterinary care is about a lot more than just who is close, who is open or who is cheapest.
Here are a few of the reasons I have chosen Breckenridge Animal Clinic and Dr. Caroline Cervelli to take care of our dogs.

We adopted Miss Emma Lou from the Summit County Animal Shelter in the autumn of 2006.
She was 3 years old at the time and had been in the shelter for quite a long time.
We saw her in one of the cages dipping her front paw into her water bowl and then licking the water off.
I thought she was on the way to going insane.
So we adopted her.
She was quite a handful for a number of years.
It was obvious she had been abused.
She was scared of newspapers and didn't hesitate to bite if you were not very careful.
