Keseca Veterinary Clinic
Your large animal veterinary clinic serving predominantly dairy herds in the heart of the Finger Lakes. Keseca provides our clients with the highest level of service and expertise they need to maintain healthy herds, produce high quality milk profitably and remain competitive in the dairy industry. Our licensed and accredited veterinarians and technicians recognize that success on the dairy requires attention to cows, their environment and the people that work with them.

Keseca is dedicated to helping producers manage all three of these areas well. We offer the full range of traditional veterinary services to dairy and beef cattle as well as small ruminants, including routine herd health visits, reproductive ultrasonography, sick animal diagnosis and treatment, and 24 hr emergency services for our clients, with phones forwarded directly to the doctor on call.

Known throughout NY and beyond for our milk quality expertise, we also consult for dairies beyond our practice area. Keseca is committed to promoting the health, well-being and productivity of dairy cattle, as well as ensuring the safety of the food our clients produce.
Services
Routine herd health work makes up the cornerstone of our practice.
From reproductive examinations to vaccine & treatment protocols to regular records analysis - we flex to your needs.
For sick animal services we ask that you call in by 9:00 am whenever possible, enabling us to plan our days most efficiently.
You will receive a call when a doctor is on the way so that you can have your animal restrained when we get there.
Calls that come in after hours get forwarded right to the doctor on-call, so you can speak directly to the person who will take care of your emergency.
Clinical mastitis samples are cultured 7 days a week (24 hr turn-around-time), with results reported 6 days a week along with individualized treatment recommendations.
Bacterial Counts can also be run on bulk tank, colostrum, pasteurizer, bedding, and washcloth samples.
Full equipment evaluation (milk flow, pulsators, vacuum pumps, teat end vacuum, and automatic take-offs) utilizing lactocorder, Tri-Scan, and VADIA technologies.
Milking routine evaluation for minimizing mastitis risk, improving parlor efficiency, and optimizing milk let-down and teat health.
