A Vision The Animal Emergency Clinic was established in the spring of 1995.
It was founded by a group of local veterinarians who had the hopes of providing their patients with all night, weekend and holiday care.
It was established as an independent business managed and staffed with veterinarians of its own.
Putting Down Roots Our first location was on Main Street in Hesperia where we remained for about 4 years.
Then seeking to own our own facility we purchased and remodeled a small building on Bear Valley Road near 11th Avenue where we remained until early 2008.
It was founded by a group of local veterinarians who had the hopes of providing their patients with all night, weekend and holiday care.

Please leave your pet in the car and telephone us from your car to let us know when you have arrived.
Due to the nature of emergency medicine, we cannot quote accurate wait times for your pet to be seen, as pets are seen in order of urgency.
Upon arrival at our clinic, please call and a triage technician will come outside to assess your pet as soon as possible.
At times, due to excessive patient volume, we may need to refer you to another veterinary ER as we can reach max capacity.
If possible, please call prior to coming to our clinic to verify that we can accommodate your pet.

Being excellent at taking care of our patients is important to us, that's why the staff at AEC is not only trained extensively in house, but also sent to continuing education conferences to expand their skill sets.
This hands on three day conference covered: Emergency & Critical Care, Recover CPR certification and Anesthesia & Ventilator use.
Charlotte, Laura & Sinuhe attended lectures each morning and practiced hands on skills in the afternoons.
Training included: central line placement, intraosseous catheter placement, ultrasound guided venipuncture, learning the ins/outs of ventilator use and certification in basic and advanced CPR.
